So what's a group of friends who want to do Stand-Up do when there's no Stand-Up scene around?  They build one.  In late 2015, Joplin Comedy was formed to put on Comedy Open-Mic Nights and Comedy Showcases at various venues in the Joplin area.  Soon after, they also began working with TJ Lelands in Pittsburg, Ks.

Since that time, Joplin Comedy has provided a place for aspiring Comedians across the region to hone their craft in front of crowds while also bringing in some of the best comedians from across the nation, including Ben Kronberg, Dave Stone, Ryan Singer and Dave Waite just to name a few.
